Dear Friends and Neighbors,
I hope this update finds you well. Although session ended in April, I have been busy working on several issues throughout this interim. As the Republican ranking member of the House Housing Committee, I have been focused on the many housing issues still affecting our state.
A few weeks ago, I met with several of you in both Walla Walla and Tri-Cities for some listening sessions to share ideas and find solutions to the problems facing the rental market and mobile home parks. One of my top priorities is trying to curtail the rapid rate increases and other challenges those with fixed incomes face regarding housing.
With that in mind, I wanted to share with you some important resources and other valuable information about several of the programs available for seniors and mobile home owners in Washington.
